🐾 Do Cats Feel the Heat & Cold on Their Feet?
Cat paws may look soft and cute—but they’re also highly sensitive.
Unlike dogs, cats have softer paw pads with more nerve endings, making them extra aware of surfaces and temperature. This means hot pavement can burn them quickly, and cold ground can be just as uncomfortable.
👉 A simple rule:
If it’s too hot or cold for your hand, it’s too much for your cat’s paws.
Keep your feline friends safe—avoid extreme surfaces and always be mindful of where they walk. 🐱❄️☀️

Home wanted!

We have this gorgeous girl that has been with us for over 2 months. She is happy and healthy and full of love.

She just wants to play and loves every bit of attention she can possibly get. She has a kind nature and is full of joy and smiles.

Please help us find her a loving foreverhome?

She is approximately 9-10 months old and in fantastic condition.

🐾 Do Dogs Feel the Cold & Heat on Their Feet?
Many people think dog paws are “tough enough” for anything—but that’s not entirely true.
While their paw pads are built to handle rough ground, they are still very sensitive to extreme temperatures. Hot pavement can burn, and icy surfaces can cause pain or injury.

❄️🐾 As the weather gets colder, don’t forget—your pets feel it too!

Make sure they have a warm, dry place to sleep, keep them off cold floors, and limit time outside on chilly days. Short-haired, young, and older pets need extra care during this time.
