Our beautiful Rottie, Hilter has officially been adopted by the Jansen van Vuuren family, and it looks like he’s already settling into his new role as the newest member of the pack. 🥹🐶

From rescue to forever — this is exactly the happy ending we hoped for. 🏡❤️

Trying to make progress with our grumpy stray from Arboretum. 🫪

Rescue and rehabilitation of an animal whose trust has been broken in humanity can prove difficult and requires a lot of patience and understanding. 🙏🏼

Thankfully we have our kennel hand (AKA dog whisperer) Devan working with him to slowly gain his trust back and to possibly make him an adoptable dog. ❤️

Fingers crossed Mr Grumpy cheers up a bit.🤞🏼

A special thank you to the Moodley family for thinking of us and our animals.

They kindly donated much-needed dog food for our residents, but they also went the extra mile and surprised our staff with some sweet treats. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely reminder that the people behind the scenes are appreciated too.

This sweet girl now has a family of her own, and we couldn't be happier to see her starting this beautiful new chapter.
