A week late for Mandela Day, I am so sorry. But we only think it's fair to also give a big thank you to Complete Pet for the dog food donation on Mandela Day. Adrienne let us know that it is coming to Huis Herfsblaar and we cannot be more thrilled for this big spoil for the oldies of SA Basset Adoptions NPC 2017/457111/08. We are very grateful and feel blessed for being considered for such an awesome gift! The Bassets can't wait to dig in!♥️

Unsure of how you can help on Mandela day? Consider making a donation to SA Basset Adoptions NPC 2017/457111/08, their medical expenses and needs of the oldies has skyrocketed this winter. Keeping up with meds for the arthritis and bad backs and hips have been a challenge, and they never let one of the Bassets go without their medication, they try so hard to keep all comfortable and happy. Your donation can make a difference to an oldie's quality of life.

Our little visitor this morning. The dogs alerted us and it was utter chaos 😂 Between screaming like the girls we are and trying to keep the dogs from trying to end the poor soul's life it was quite the festive morning🙈
