In 2012, a four-legged soul entered our lives and sparked an eternal flame…a flame that would shape who we are and what we do today. Thor dared us to be different, confident, and unwavering in our mission to give him, and countless others, the best life possible.

We were just high school and varsity students then, driven by love and curiosity for our XXL American bully x, experimenting with ways to improve his nutrition. From sourcing fresh tripe and offals to launching our very first project “Starpups-holistic natural dog ice cream”. Thor was there, testing flavours and standing beside us through every opportunity and obstacle.

He inspired us to dedicate ourselves to learning more about animal nutrition, training, and care, which eventually led us to rescue over 20 power breed dogs. Today, 17 of them still live with us, thriving inside our home, all because of the journey Thor started.

In 2023, we relaunched as WYLD … a growing community and a promise to help fur-parents give their pets the happiest, healthiest, and longest lives possible.

But just two days before 2025 began, we had to say goodbye to him. Losing him has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced. Yet, as we’ve began navigating this new year without our Big Guy, his memory pushes us forward with even more determination to carry on what he started. Thor’s legacy has become our vision, and we’ve stepped into this purpose knowing his spirit is guiding us.

Thor’s impact extends far beyond us. Through his legacy, we’ve been able to touch the lives of so many dogs and their families. Every treat, every meal, every rescue…he’s been there, and his spirit will continue to guide every step we take.

Rest in peace, Thor. We, and every soul you’ve touched and continue to, can never thank you enough for the journey you paved for us. You’ll forever be our spark, our inspiration, and the heartbeat of WYLD.

Here’s to your legacy, Big Guy. We’ll make you proud❤️
