De Liefde Stables- home of DG Arabians Long and short term livery yard ideal for spelling, rehab and retirement. We are also breeders of Ara Follow our page for recent updates and sales lists

The stud dates back to the early 1900's when Sir De Villiers Graaff (1st Baronet) bought the farm De Grendel in Cape Town, where he started breeding with his beloved Arabians. We aim to breed horses that are typey, correct & sweet natured. We occasionally offer horses for sale, and pre-backing services are available upon request.

Thank you so much to Showing Association of South Africa and Showing Online for this wonderful and all inclusive initiative. Being able to take part in events and show our horses when it is not always possible to physically attend is definitely going to be a game changer!!

Well done to our amazing grooms for putting in the hard work and love with our horses, we couldn't be prouder of you. We'll done on your achievements with your kids!
