🎙️ Sluit aan Donderdag van 21:00–22:00 op Pretoria FM se program “Mense wat omgee”, waar CrisisOnCall gesels oor noodsituasies, dienslewering en hoekom jy nie op staatsdienste kan staatmaak nie.

In ’n onlangse voorval het dit ’n ambulans 60 minute geneem om op ’n noodoproep te reageer. Dit is nie ’n uitsondering nie—Suid-Afrika se openbare nooddienste is onderbeman, oorlaai, en dikwels onbetroubaar. Miljoene oproepe aan 10111 word jaarliks gemis, en munisipale dienslewering—van water tot elektrisiteit—is in ’n krisis.

Intussen is misdaad aan die toeneem. Gauteng het in net een jaar meer as 17 000 voertuigdiefstalle aangemeld. Areas soos Brooklyn, Honeydew en Roodepoort is veral kwesbaar. Selfs al volg jy al die regte wenke—parkering in veilige areas, die gebruik van slotte en alarmstelsels—bly die risiko groot.
