It's with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to one of our resident dogs yesterday. Sheila was adopted from the Tshwane SPCA in 2019. She was an amazing dog and helped multiple dogs overcome their fearful behaviours. She will be greatly missed!

Videos like this one remind me that even reactive dogs can have friends. The white dog, Stewie, is the reactive dog meaning he becomes aggressive towards other dogs in certain situations. However, by management we have decreased his reactivity. Therefore, allowing him to be his true self and make friends. It's also important to find other dogs that are experts at reading body language. Both Chino and Lynx could read his body language and therefore they knew how to play with him. It just shows how important it is to socialise your dog 🐕
