🐾 Feel Good Friday 🐾

Can we just take a moment to appreciate dogs?

They don't care if you're having a bad hair day.

They don't care how much money you have.

They don't care if your house is spotless or if you've had the worst week imaginable.

They'll still greet you like you're the most important person in the world.

They celebrate the little things.

A walk.

A tennis ball.

A car ride.

The sound of the treat jar.

Or simply the fact that... you came home.

Maybe that's why I love photographing them so much.

Every dog reminds me to slow down, laugh a little more, and never underestimate the power of unconditional love.

So here's your Feel Good Friday mission...

Before the day ends, stop whatever you're doing, get down on their level and give your dog the biggest cuddle you can.

I promise they'll think it's the best idea you've had all week. ❤️🐾

Hi. I'm Cat.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot to introduce myself again.

If you're new here, welcome.

If you've been here for years, thank you for staying.

Over the last 16 years I've photographed hundreds of dogs.

But here's a little secret...

I don't think I ever fell in love with photography.

I fell in love with dogs.

Photography was simply how I chose to love them.

So I'm changing things around here.

Less "perfect."

More real.

More muddy paws.

More grey muzzles.

More laughter.

More stories.

More of the moments that happen before and after the shutter clicks.

Because every meeting has always meant more to me than the photo.
