Saterdag was die eerste Puppy School gewees en dit was so baie pret! Dankie aan almal wat hier was en deel was van die eerste klas! As jy sou belangstel om jou puppy te bring kontak ons gerus by 015 491 3637 pups moet ondeer 4 mande wees!

Doelstelings van leerskool “puppy school”
• Bemagtiging van eienaar
Die hoof doelstelling is om “pup” eienaars te help om hulle dier meer effektief te hanteer. U sal leer om aan jou hondjie se behoeftes te voldoen en om hom/haar aanvaarbare gedrag te leer. Die kennis en praktiese vaardighede sal jou help om n meer effektiewe eienaaar te word. “puppy” skool help om gedragsprobleme te voorkom net soos inentings siektes soos bv. Parvo virus en hondesiekte te voorkom.
• Goeie maniere
Hondjies wat goed gemanier is het n beter kans om te oorleef in n huishouding , nie aleen omdat mense nie vinnig vir hulle kwaad word nie maar ook omdat gepaste gedrag hulle meer selfversekerd maak dit dra by tot n beter emotionele gesondheid. Die basiese lewensvaardighede is hoe om dinge te doen om hulle eienaars gelikag te hou bv. Nie in die huis tem ors nie en op mense te spring nie ens.
• Sosiale en habitat geleenthede vir hondjies
Posetiewe en beheerde bloodstelling aan allerdaagse dinge soos bv. Vreemde mense en honde (sosiaal vekeer) en nuwe voorwerpe en omstandighede help verseker dat hondjies genoeg self vertroue het om die werld aan te pak.
Meeste mense besef nie dat die mees algemene oorsaak vir honde uitsit is agv. Gedragsprobleme. Baie van die probleme kan voorkom word met regte opleiding van hondjies (behalwe waar problem geneties is, met ander woorde hondjie is gebore met problem wat eers n tydjie later kan manifisteer)

Objectives of puppy school
• Empowering puppy owners
The main objective of puppy classes is to enable puppy owners to manage their puppies effectively. You will be given the basic tools to fulfil your puppies needs and to teach the puppies acceptable behaviour. The knowledge and the practical skills will help you to become a more effective dog owner . Puppy classes help to prevent behaviour problems just like vaccinations prevent diseases like parvovirus and distemper.
• Good manners for puppies
Puppies who are well behaved have a better chance of surviving in the households , not only because people don’t get cross with them so easily , but also because a clear understanding of appropriate behaviour makes them more self-confident, thereby enhancing their mental and emotional well being . The basic life skills for puppies are how to do things that people like eg. Not mess in the house, not jump onto people ect.
• Socialization and habituation opportunity for puppies
Positive and controlled exposure to common stimuli such as strange people and dogs (socialisation) and novel objects and situations (habituation) ensure that puppies are self confident and well equipped for the real world.
Most people do not realise that the most common reason for euthanasia in pets is behaviour problems. Most of these problems can be prevented with the correct training of a young pup(except where problem is genetic, that is to say pup is born with the problem which may only manifest months later)
