Before and after. Please don’t judge. There is a story behind a story. We did great education today. A new pet owner that committed to a once a month groom. This little dog was so aggressive at the previous groomer, that he had to be sedated.
Our groomers managed to groom him today without sedation (although Vasti received a few ouchie bites). He was just scared and we are now working on educating the owner and desensitizing Ocean. We are thankful for opportunities like this because our speciality is the dogs that other parlours can handle or don’t want to handle.
Ocean has a great owner who is prepared to learn and admitted that her lack of knowledge had brought poor Ocean to this point of being clean shaven. She was never informed, she just had to swipe her card and all was good. I told her privately today, at our first introduction, that the state of her dog, constitutes animal cruelty.
Happy days ahead for Ocean and het family, as we are going to help them give Ocean the best life possible.
