I can hardly believe it’s been nine years since I made my very first Zedbed Doggy Bag.

This little business has carried me through retrenchment, career disappointments, COVID, and jobs that didn’t always pay the bills. Through it all, making beds for your fur babies has been a constant source of joy.

When I started in 2017 I had forgotten how to thread a sewing machine and hadn’t sewn since high school needlework. Thank you YouTube… and thank you to the first brave customers who bought beds even when the stitching wasn’t perfect 🤣

To everyone who has supported Zedbed over the years — buying beds, replacing them, and welcoming new doggies who needed one of their own — thank you.

And thank you to my dogs — Ranger and Captain, who are no longer with us, and Minx and Patchi. Each of you inspired the beds I design today. Thank you for the unconditional love and unwavering companionship that only a dog (and God) can give.

Here’s to the next 9 years of happy dogs and comfy beds. 🐶
