Today marked the start of a coordinated multi-disciplinary operation involving SAPS, local security companies, and other key role players in an effort to combat the recent increase in crime affecting our communities.

By working together, sharing information, increasing visibility, and conducting joint operations, we aim to disrupt criminal activity and improve safety throughout our area. Crime is not a challenge that any one organisation can tackle alone—it requires a united approach from law enforcement, security providers, and the community.

We encourage all residents to remain vigilant, report suspicious activity, and continue supporting crime prevention initiatives. Together, we can make our communities a more difficult environment for criminals to operate in.

A safer community starts with all of us working together.

Today, with heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our dear friend, mentor, and one of the fathers of Multi Security, Chief Fred Cannon, who sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning.

Chief Cannon was more than a colleague; he was a friend, a leader, and a father figure to generations of response officers and controllers. His wisdom, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving our community have left an indelible mark on Multi Security and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

His presence, guidance, and sense of humour will be deeply missed, and he leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. He has left a hole in the heart of Multi Security that can never be filled.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Chief. Your watch is over, but your legacy will live on forever.

🚨 NEW RESPONSE VEHICLES ON PATROL 🚨

Multi Security is proud to introduce our new response vehicles to the streets of Port Alfred and the surrounding areas.

These vehicles have been added to our fleet to improve visibility, increase patrol coverage, and assist our response teams in reaching our clients as quickly and efficiently as possible. Their fuel efficiency allows us to keep more vehicles active on the road, helping us maintain a strong presence in the communities we serve while improving response times.

When you see our new Multi Security vehicles around town, know that they are there for one purpose – protecting our community.
