For your convenience, we are willing to help you on a Sunday or a Public Holiday,
but there will be a once-off charge of R25.00 to cover overtime costs to the caretakers. ELIZABETH KENNELS will supply Dog food and Food and Water bowls. Please do not bring cushions as they will generally be in pieces within a couple of days. You may bring special food or treats which we will ensure your pet gets. This must be labeled properly with your dog’s detail like: Name, Breed, M/F.Colour.You will appreciate that we have lots of dogs over DEC./JAN. and we would hate to be feeding your cubes to another dog!! Please advise us beforehand if ANYTHING is wrong with your pet, like limping, sneezing, or any other condition it may have (on heat) - this makes it easier for us to spot a problem should anything occur while the pet is in our care. Should your Dog or Cat get any of the sicknesses for which it could have been inoculated, it would be totally your own fault and responsibility & consequences forthcoming, for not treating it as per the program. The same goes for tick fever – if it contracts this disease it has clearly not been treated! As an Extra precautionary we advise Owners to get their pets injected against pregnancy (On Heat), this lasts for +- 6 months. We do take all the possible precautions to prevent this but people don’t always tell you the truth when they are pressed to get their pets accommodated. Please note that it is common practice to put a singles pet with the same type and s*x, together Over December. Pets being booked in ONLY FOR A FEW DAYS OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD MAY BE PUT WITH OTHER FAMILIES DOGS FOR THIS VERY SHORT TIME AS WE CANNOT KEEP A WHOLE KENNEL OPEN TO BE USED FOR 2/3 DAYS ONLY OVER OUR ONLY PEAK SEASON
Do not be alarmed because we monitor every such group to see that they fit and accept each other, and haven’t had any incidents where WE made the decision.
