What are actually the basic needs of our horses and what is important only for us riders?

Horses are often called "demanding in the attitude" but actually it is quite simple.
- A well functioning herd
- fresh air
- 24/7 the possibility to move on mud-free ground
- 24/7 high quality roughage
- 24/7 access to fresh water
- protection from the weather with foresight
And that's it. That's all our horses need to survive for now.

But unfortunately that is easier said than done. Sufficient space must be available and a well thought-out concept (more on this in a new post) is needed as well as the necessary Pockentmoney. Just fixing the floors (and I don't mean a paddock with 10 by 20 meters) costs a fortune. Plus the considerable extra work to keep everything clean.
And that alone is enough to not do it....
"IT" -> the Paddock Paradise

Yet at Tamoquestriancenter, that's exactly what we build. And why?
Simple: I'm convinced of it. Back to the Roots!
Back in my little Paddock Paradise in Germany I could watch my horses getting healthier from week to week. Mentally and physically.
Just a few examples:
- Balance and contentment
- Encouragement of own thinking
- Surefootedness
- Strong ligaments, tendons and joints
- intestinal health
- Shiny coat with the same food
- Strong hooves
- Motivated, fit horses
- More mobility

All around a healthy horse through species-appropriate and natural husbandry!
