A heartfelt thank you to the De Jager family for opening their hearts and home to one of our beautiful puppies.

We are so grateful that this little fur baby has found a loving family where they will be cherished, cared for and loved for many years to come.

Every adoption means so much to us. It gives an animal a second chance at life and creates space for us to help another animal in need.

Thank you De Jager family, for choosing adoption and for giving this precious puppy the loving forever home they deserve.

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came to our rescue when we shared that we were down to our last bag of dog food.

We are so happy to share that 7 bags of 20kg Montey&Me dog food have been delivered to our shelter.

We responded to a stray dog at Sefako Makgatho University (MEDUNSA) who was found with a severely injured leg.

We rushed him to receive the help he desperately needed, hoping that we could save him and give him a chance at a better life. Sadly after assessing the condition of his leg, it was clear that the injury was far too severe. His suffering could not be relieved and the heartbreaking decision was made to put him to sleep.

We are devastated. Every rescue reminds us of how much suffering is out there, and how urgently these animals need help.

We may not have been able to save his life, but we are grateful that he was not left to suffer alone. He was shown kindness, received care and had someone fighting for him until the very end.

OUR NEW FUNDRAISER IS LIVE!

We are incredibly excited to announce that Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educenter has officially launched a brand new fundraiser with LiveGood Fundraising.

This is not your typical fundraiser that ends after a few weeks. The goal is to create an opportunity for ongoing, recurring support for our shelter while people shop for wellness products they already use and love.

❤️🐾 We Need Your Support Again

It is that time of the month again when we reach out to our amazing community for support to help us keep our shelter running.

Every single day, we rescue, feed, protect and care for abandoned, neglected and vulnerable animals. Behind every rescue is fuel, food, veterinary care, staff, shelter and countless hours of hard work and we simply cannot do it alone.

This month we are once again raising funds towards staff salaries, fuel for rescues, rent, insurance and other daily operating costs.

A heartfelt thank you to Jane Doo for her incredible generosity in donating food parcels for the underprivileged children who attend our educational programmes at the Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educenter.

Your kindness will help ensure that many children receive a nutritious meal while participating in our animal welfare education classes. A full stomach makes it easier for children to learn, grow and develop compassion for animals and their community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased dog food for us through Montego.

We are incredibly grateful to announce that we received 23 bags of 20kg Montey&Me dog food.

That is a massive 460kg of dog food to help feed the animals in our care. Every bag means full bowls, happy tails and one less worry for us.

Your kindness and support make it possible for us to continue rescuing, caring for and feeding vulnerable animals. We truly cannot do this without you.
