The annual STAR STALLION AUCTION this year takes place on Monday, 16 June 2025 as a WhatsApp event from 13:00 to 17:00. During this event, only the coverings of SA Boerperd Stallions are on auction. With this initiative, the genetics of SA Boerperd stallions will be made available to the highest bidders and will ultimately result in the STAR FOAL competition ± 2 years later, where the foals from these stallions will be presented in a competition. The STAR STALLION AUCTION is not a competition between stallions – all the stallions that are made available by their owners, are accepted.
Die jaarlikse STERHINGS-VEILING vind hierdie jaar plaas op Maandag, 16 Junie, 2025 deur WhatsApp, vanaf 13:00 – 17:00. Tydens hierdie geleentheid word slegs dekkings van hingste opgeveil. Deur hierdie inisiatief word die Genetika van hingste beskikbaar gemaak en op die hoogste bieër toegelaan. Ongeveer 2 jaar later neem die vullens van hierdie hingste deel aan die Stervul-kompetisie waar ‘n wenner aangewys sal word. Die STERHINGS-VEILING is nie ‘n kompetisie tussen hingste nie – al die hingste wat beskikbaar gemaak word, kan deelneem.
