Proudfoot Holiday Farm offers self-catering and pet friendly accommodation 35kms from Mooi River.

Whether you are looking for an intimate getaway for two or a spot for friends and family to come together and have a memorable time, we have got you covered! Choose between our two sleeper cottage, with the option of putting in a mattress for your little one, or our main house which sleeps fifteen. Proudfoot is ideal for anyone who would enjoy bicycle riding or road bike riding (to bring your own

bikes), walks/runs, bird watching (The bird life on the farm is prolific and ever changing according to the seasons. More than 79 different species of birds have been recorded in an area of approximately 8km squared .. and the farm is within that area!) and fishing in the Mooi River, or Cragie Burn Dam which is +/- 5kms away, but a 4x4 is needed. Often buck can be spotted, as they wander on and off the farm at different times. If you want to the have the rolling mountains on your doorstep, enjoy the African sunsets and feel complete serenity, then this is the place for you - Heaven On Earth!

TAKE THE OPEN ROAD TO PROUD FOOT FARM.

Every season is beautiful even as we go into the winter months it is still amazing to see and enjoy the surroundings.

Zulu Falls is flowing strongly all the Aloes are starting to flower now. A quick drive to the dam, if you want to fish. Also bring your bikes or quad bikes and go on that ride to see the Middlerus area. Or just walk and appreciate nature at it's best.

Aloe Hill and the Main House can accommodate a total of 23 people. There is also a 1 bedroom cottage for 2 people.

Perched up in the mountains lies Aloe Hill. This eight sleeper unit is self catering and pet friendly 🐕

There are 3 bedrooms, each room offering an exquisite view of the vast landscape. There are 2 bathrooms, each with a shower.
The lounge, dining area and kitchen all flow into each other, all looking onto the rolling hills 🌄

The outside verandah allows the perfect space for ample relaxation, to soak up the sun and just enjoy the stillness at Proudfoot Holiday Farm 🕊️

The rates are R600 per adult per night and R300 per child (2 years old - 12 years old) per night.
