This beautiful big filly was bred by Wynnholme Stud for David Makins during a time when David's health was deteriorating. Unfortunately David was never able to meet her in person. Thank you big girl for making us all so proud! David I could hear you shouting her home from above. 😂

We always predicted she was a horse to take note of. Today she really showed everyone she means business.

The daughter of Act of War, HAZY DAZY won the Ducat Africa Fillies Mile (Grade 3) making it win number 4 in only her 6th career start.

The 3 year old filly is trained by Corné Spies of Spies Racing and was ridden to a one length victory by her regular jockey Trent Mayhew.

HAZY DAZY was bred by the late David Makins at Wynnholme Stud.

Congratulations to all the connections. She’s not likely to stop here.

Such an exciting and proud moment 💥💥💥

It was a runaway win for SHOOT THE RAPIDS in the 10th race at Turffontein today.

The Erupt gelding won the Racehorse Owners Association Stayers by nearly 10 lengths for trainer Frank Robinson and jockey Craig Zackey.

Shoot the Rapids was bred by Ingrid Klug at Wynnholme Stud. It was the second win of the day for Wynnholme Stud and certainly a red letter day for Frank Robinson who had just won the Betway Summer Cup.
