A CAPITAL STUD CLEAN SWEEP

Capital horses dominated the arena in the Young Horse Performance Series Leg 5 - Six-Year-Old Potential Showjumper Class, taking all of the top four placings.

🥇 1st - Capital Carden (Cornet Obolensky × Capital Colnardo × Capital Don Cumarco) and Johan Lotter
🥈 2nd - Capital Lennox (Capital Levubu × Capital Don Cumarco × Coronado) and Johan Lotter

Capital Stud is looking for a well-qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic Stud Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a world-class sporthorse breeding operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of stud management from daily operations to the full reproduction process, including AI with both fresh and frozen semen.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in horse breeding and yard management, who works well within a team.

Capital Stud is seeking a confident, capable, and experienced work rider to join our professional team at Summerhill Equestrian.

Key responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠School and exercise young horses, contributing to their early education and gymnastic training.
•⁠ ⁠Provide regular feedback on each horse’s development, temperament, and performance.
•⁠ ⁠Assist in the preparation for auctions.
•⁠ ⁠Maintain a high standard of horsemanship and care, both on and off the horse.⁠⁠
•⁠ ⁠Support daily yard routines and uphold the highest standards of stable management

What we’re looking for:
•⁠⁠⁠ ⁠⁠Proven experience riding young horses.
•⁠⁠⁠ ⁠⁠Eligibility to live and work in South Africa

A striking chestnut mare by Kannan, world-renowned sire of both showjumpers and eventers, Capital Klara is out of Capital La Mercy by Nabab de Rêve. This maternal line includes Merise and Hemingway, adding power and reliability to a top-shelf pedigree. She shares her dam with Kingsland, an exciting young horse in the making.

She is in foal to Capital’s Tandoori Pommex Z, whose Tobago Z–Bamako de Muze lines bring electricity, carefulness and charisma. This is a top-quality match for sport.
