Holidays are always a happy time! A happier time when pooches book into Countryside Pet Hotel with smiles.

Happy time at the kennels gives one a sense of chilled, relax, and friends to bark at, and a time to read the peemails left by previous visitors.

We care that each and every guest booking in enjoy their holiday with us.

"Animals choose to come into our lives. They are part of our karma and we are part of theirs. Sometimes they are found "abandoned" or wandering, in the middle of a road or in danger in the heart of the night; other times they are found at the front door of the house, as sent by fate; other times they arrive from loved ones, neighbors or strangers.

Animals were already in our karma at least. In this life, as in the others. According to Brian Weiss, the same animal often incarnates itself several times during our lifetime, simply changing shape and coat, and being recognized by small gestures, details and subtle habits. This is clearly seen with cats.

When a "new" animal enters our house and knows exactly where to go, it's a sign that it simply says back. Many people, at the moment of death, receive the soothing vision not of a deceased relative, but rather of an animal. This means a lot. Because for our soul there is no difference between one species and another.

Animals are in our evolutionary path just like we are in theirs, for this reason we must respect them as sacred creatures and take the greatest care of them. They are part of us, in a different form of the universe."

🐾 This is Candi 🐾

At our pet hotel, we meet many special guests — but every once in a while, one truly steals our hearts. 💛

Candi is a tiny dog with a big spirit.
She was born deaf and in her later life went blind, but you’d never guess it by the way she moves through her days.
Through her other amazing senses — smell, touch, and an incredible inner compass — she has learned to navigate her world with confidence and grace.

Routine is her anchor, and she settles into it beautifully.
Her little garden unit allocated to her allows for her to feel safe and move around freely.
From knowing when it’s mealtime, to finding her cozy spot to rest, to recognizing the gentle vibrations of a loving human nearby — Candi shows us every day that being different is not a limitation, but a gift in its own way❤️🐶❤️🐶❤️

Her courage, resilience, and trust remind us why we do what we do.

She doesn’t need sight or sound to feel love — she feels it in every safe step, every gentle touch, and every warm space created just for her.

We are so proud to care for little Candi and grateful for the lessons she teaches us all. 🌟

With that being said we bid farewell to Lee who has been a loyal client with her various kitties for 16 years.

Our kitty days take us back to the beginning with Mynx, who will be well remembered for her delight of gemsquash, then after Mynx came along these two gorgeous furries.

We pride ourselves in caring for our guests, allowing them time to be relaxed, happy and comfortable.

Ours is a sanctuary of tranquility, with birds singing in the trees, chickens pecking around.

We limit our bookings so as to not overload our care given to our VIP guests.

Our guests leave feeling relaxed and content.

I find total happiness in seeing other people happy!

So Whiskey's story started with his owner moving out of the area to the homelands. Whiskey sadly couldn't go with. He is easy going and clearly loved and was well cared for.

The best part here..I made Whiskey's owner happy assisting him with a new home.

I equally made Whiskey's new owner happy allowing her to adopt her new friend, partner, shadow, companion.

He is happy, I am happy, they are happy and so is his original family happy.

It's never this easy to home a dog, but if it's meant to be, it will be.

Happy days Whiskey...you will be well loved.

A bitter sweet farewell!

I am elated that these 2 will be reunited with their folk, but very sad to see them go..

Today these sweeties left our farm after 5 months being with us..left healthy, happy and fatter, ready for their journey to greener pastures in the UK..

Sabrina sporting her wooly but tidy winter coat..ensuring she is warm on landing in snowy cold Kent..
Kevin and his comical smile will be missed.
Wishing you all a happy reunion.🥳🥳
