At Maltese, French Poodle & Yorkie Rescue SA, we never turn away a dog in need. Whether they’ve been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered, we give each one the medical care they deserve — from sterilisations, dentals, and surgeries, to long-term treatments and chronic medication.

But this commitment comes at a cost.
Our current Bergbron Animal Clinic bill has reached R57,900, and with ongoing care for more dogs, it’s expected to exceed R70,000.
We also owe several other vets, and the pressure is becoming overwhelming.

We cannot do this alone.

He is a soft soul and needs a gentle hand. He gets along with other dogs and kids.
His adoption fee is R1200.

🌟 Claire and Dirkie: A Mom and Son Duo Looking for Their Forever Home 🌟

Claire (around 2–3 years old) and her sweet little boy Dirkie (still a puppy at around 1) — are ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and wagging tails.

Dirkie sometimes needs his ears set to factory default, but that just adds to his charm! 😄 He and Claire absolutely love children, get along wonderfully with other dogs, and are just amazing all-round companions.

Their bond is truly special, and they’d love nothing more than to be adopted together. Claire is a gentle, nurturing mom, and Dirkie adores her — always following her lead.
