This handsome Maltese boy is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. He loves being close to those he cares about and will happily follow you from room to room, simply wanting to be near you. 🥹🐾

Buckey is loyal, affectionate, and incredibly devoted. Once he knows he is safe and loved, his sweet personality shines through and he becomes the most wonderful companion.

He dreams of a calm, loving home where he can enjoy cuddles, companionship, and all the little comforts every dog deserves in their golden years. ❤️

Every day we are asked to help another neglected, abandoned, sick, injured, elderly or unwanted dog.

Despite our name, we don't only help Maltese, French Poodles and Yorkies. When a dog is suffering and needs help, breed rarely matters. Over the years, we have rescued and assisted countless dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and breeds.

Right now, our vet account at Glen Marais Animal Hospital stands at R23,545.81.

This bill represents lives saved.

Dogs who arrived sick and needed treatment.
Dogs who needed medication and veterinary care.
Dogs who had been abandoned, neglected or forgotten.
Dogs who had nobody else.

Every rand spent was spent giving a dog a second chance.

Unfortunately, until this account is reduced, our ability to continue helping the next dog in need becomes increasingly difficult.

Meet Chloe - a gorgeous 3-year old Labradoodle girl with a heart of gold.

Chloe is in her prime, athletic, bright-eyed and full of that gentle, goofy Labradoodle charm. She is sweet, people focused and deeply affectionate with her humans.

She needs to be an only dog in a home with no cats. She is not comfortable sharing space with other animals.

If you are ready for a one-dog household, Chloe is available to adopt and waiting to meet her person. ❤
