Troy and I had our first jump back on Sunday after his well deserved holiday, and we had our last lesson on Wednesday before our show this weekend. He is feeling incredible at the moment and jumping out of his skin, I can't wait to see what this year brings us. Super excited to head back out into the cross country this weekend at ICB🧡
Thank you Paul Hart Equestrian for all your hard work even though I give you grey hairs often😂

Sunlands/NFEP

Proud is an understatement after this weekend.
A weekend full of ups and downs but coming out with a fantastic win🤩
Dressage was quite stressful mainly due to the fact that there were people watering the plants right next to my arena but nevertheless we pulled out a clear in the showjumping and then a fabulous cross country track with only 1 runout (just a baby moment) and 1 second over the optimum time. Troy felt incredible this weekend but especially in the country, his confidence has grown and his mind has settled a lot, his ears were always pricked and looking for the next fence that he could attack❤️big things to come for this special horse❤️

Last lesson before we head back into the country this week at Sunlands and NFEP.
I'm super excited to get out and about with Troy again. Even though all my classes are bright and early in the morning I'm feeling pretty confident for my cold and windy dressage at 8am on Saturday😂Troy has been working phenomenally these last 2 weeks and he is looking a million bucks after all the changes we made.
Equestrian House & Equipe South Africa thank you so much, Troy feels amazing in his new saddle. Glen Austin Equine Clinic & Equi-Feeds Equestrian you are to thank for his amazing condition😍 Petra and Jonathan you guys have worked some serious magic on this big boy, thank you💕
My full orange set made by Onyx Equestrian will be in full action on Sunday at Northern Farms so you Definitely won't miss me out on track.

All the boys have been having some down time the last few weeks because I have been writing prelims but prelims end next week and I cannot wait to get back to lessons and shows next week💕

Buttons has started his barefoot journey which is super exciting after 3 years of getting his feet strong enough and Pirate has to sadly head back to the clinic to sort out more of his teeth that he has now fractured🙈

I'm also super excited to test out my new Equipe South Africa
Saddle properly at the upcoming shows🤩thank you Equestrian House you guys are the best❤️

Finally got round to downloading the photos for ranch_equestriancenter a couple weeks ago❤️

Still super over the moon with this young boy and his progress. We are taking an unplanned break from jumping due to us not having a jumping saddle at the moment.
Prelims start in 2 weeks so riding will be minimal😂🙈

A rather cold morning with 3bpolesbin round 1 and a clear with the fastest time in the second round. We definitely going to experiment a bit with Troy over the next few weeks while we don't have a show and sort out the things we struggling with and causing our silly poles. Still super impressed with my speedy orange.
Troy and my groom Mike won best turned out in the 5 year old class.

YHPS leg 2

Our first showjumping show ended just the way I had expected.
With my main goal of the day being to stay in the saddle, we reached that goal. I wasn't expecting much of Troy at this show but he is truly so special🌹with 2 poles in the first round and 1 pole in the second round i was super happy with this result and we learnt a lot💕now we head back to practicing for our next show which is the ranch eventing in 2 weeks🎉
