Our next horse to introduce is the oldest horse on the farm and my very first Percheron mare.

At 17 years old, Gemini Milla is still as amazing as ever. A two-time South African Supreme Champion, she has produced some truly beautiful offspring and remains a special part of our farm.

Despite her massive size, she has never been afraid to break a pole or two, but beneath that powerful frame is a mare who absolutely loves hugs, attention, and spending time with her people.

Congratulations to Birgit from Archetrons Stud on the purchase of Piber Guinevere! 🤍

Out of Gemini Milla and Sterkfontein Prospector’s Kristoff, Guinevere is the second foal from Milla that you have bought from us. From the day she was born, you wanted her, and I knew she was meant to be yours.

She is going to be huge and we cannot wait to watch her grow and see what the future holds for her at Archetrons Stud.

✨ Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be introducing all the horses of Piber Stud — each one special in their own way and all with their own story to tell. A huge thank you to Sumari Joubert for the beautiful photoshoot and stunning memories she captured for us. ❤️

First up is my very first Clydesdale and the true matriarch of the farm — Arran Sunset Yvette 👑

At 16 years old, she is simply the Queen of Piber Stud. Yvette has been such an important part of this journey and helped shape so much of what the stud is today.

Pictured here with her daughter, Piber Yvaine, now 2 years old — the young lady who will one day take her mother’s place, but definitely not just yet ❤️

Some horses are special… and then there are horses like Yvette, who leave hoofprints on your heart forever 🐴

Horse of the Year 2026

Then our proudest moment of the show was our treasured mare Piber Waterford Quake, who won her class Clydesdale Mares over 4 years and then went on to win her third consecutive Supreme Clydesdale Mare at Horse of the Year.

The highlight was when she went through to the Sunday Supremes and placed 7th overall among all the mares and stallions at this year’s Horse of the Year finals.

It was an extremely proud moment for us.

Horse of the Year 2026.

No show would ever be enough without our amazing team and family. We truly appreciate everything you guys do to make it such a success. They also joined their very first costume class where we went as Scotsmen with our Clydesdales — and we won the class! It was so much fun and we can’t wait to do it again soon. 🐎🏴

Horse of the Year 2026 – Dillars Robbie

I am so proud of him and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and this young boy. He made me incredibly proud and had an amazing show.

He won:
• Clydesdale Stallion over 4 years
• Supreme Clydesdale Stallion
• Best Turnout

He was also part of the winning team in the Fun Costume Class.

What a special horse and an unforgettable show. 🐴✨

Horse of the Year 2026

Our bottle baby Piber Fate of Ophelia did incredibly well at a young age. She won the Clydesdale Youngstock Under 2 class and went on to be named Overall Reserve Supreme Mare.

We are so proud of this sweet girl and everything she has achieved already. She truly has a special place in our hearts. 🤍🐴
