Please note that us at Klipriver Animal Clinic are aware that Shaney Botha, who is a part of Bullets Vision Outreach Programme and her Husband Marno Botha are currently going through a divorce that has become quite public. We pride ourselves on the work we have been doing and continue to do with various outreach programmes/NPO'S and are passionate about being able to help the community.

Unfortunately we are being accused of being unethical and are having allegations made against us that are not true and do not hold merit. These are very serious allegations and we are getting legal advice on the matter.

We ask that if there are any concerns from you as the public or our loyal client base to contact us directly.

Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day! These feline creatures in their sleek, black coats may carry an air of mystery. However, most cats do. Along with that, their ability to find mischief or to avoid you equals that of tabbys, cinnamons, gingers, calicos, whites or grays. However, one black cat fact that holds true is they are less likely to be adopted. Just like black dogs, this variety of cat gets shunned at shelters. Despite this, black cats still respond to love and attention no differently than other felines. Consider adopting a black cat and expect the number of cuddles in your life to increase, too!

We wish to advise our clients that there have been several cases of poisoning the past few days. Today alone we had 6 cases !

Please safeguard your pets!
Keep an eye on your perimeter. Try and close up any areas where someone would be able to throw something through your fence.
Keep your pets indoors especially at night.

If you notice any of the following symptoms contact us or your nearest vet immediately!
Excessive drooling .
Vomiting .
Diarrhea .
Pinpoint pupils.
Difficulty breathing, very fast breathing or coughing up slime.
Muscle tremors, convulsions or seizures.
Disorientation.

Do not induce vomiting without the consent of a vet. Dose activated charcoal if you have ,as this will bind to the toxins and prevent further absorption of the toxins.
Get to a vet ASAP!
