🌿🐴 This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful team from SPCA White River to Mataffin Equestrian Centre for some equine familiarisation and training!
Together, we spent time learning and sharing practical skills on day-to-day horse care. We walked through the stables, highlighting key features for safety, hygiene, and good mental health for our horses. We also discussed paddock management, quality grass options, and how our yard runs on a daily basis.
The session was hands-on and interactive — covering everything from safe grooming techniques, to how to pick up hooves correctly, and how to lead horses safely. 🐎✨
