Some days in our job are tougher than others. But heartfelt words like these remind us why we do what we do.

"Ons wil net weereens dankie sê vir alles wat julle almal vir Laika gedoen het. Ek en Henriëtte is so gelukkig nog altyd gewees met hoe mooi julle daai babatjie van ons hanteer het. Dankie dat julle ons die geleentheid gegee het om vir oulaas so bietjie tyd saam haar te kon spandeer, en dat ons daai ou babatjie kon groet van ons. Dis mense soos julle wat dit die moeite werd maak vir ons om diere kinders te hê. Dan, ’n baie groot en spesiale dank aan Dr. Christo wat uit sy pad uit gegaan het om Laika te probeer help. Ook vir die profesionele en spesiale manier waarop hy alles hanteer het en ons gemaklik laat voel het. Dankie Christo. Ons sal jou ewig dankbaar wees vir alles. Julle het ons soos familie laat voel.
