Case of the week - 6 month old SPCA kitten presenting for spay. Kitten was significantly underweight, had a abdominal mass and a temperature of 40.1. Blood smear showed significant lymphocytosis with some binucleate cells. FIV/FeLV NEGATIVE. Suspected mesenteric lymphoma confirmed on ex-lap - effusion smear and FNA attached - elective HE due to poor prognosis
