Many people are uncertain what a lemon roan cocker spaniel looks like. These are 3 lemon roan boys from previous litters. Some people mistake them for odd coloured goldens but lemon roans are born white with lemon patches. As they mature lemon coloured hair mixes in with the white to give the roan effect. They can have either brown or black noses. The brown nose is the most recessive.
