Due to the planned strike action on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, we are closely monitoring the situation and the potential impact on the safety and travel of our staff.

The safety and wellbeing of our team remain our highest priority. As a result, there is a possibility that the clinic may be closed on Wednesday should it be deemed unsafe for our personnel to travel to and from work.

The number of dogs roaming the streets is becoming deeply concerning.

Every day more dogs are abandoned, neglected, injured, starving, or breeding uncontrollably. It’s not just an animal welfare issue anymore — it affects communities too, with increased accidents, attacks, disease risks, and overcrowded shelters.

Many of these dogs were once pets. Some are dumped when owners move, can’t afford care, or simply stop taking responsibility. Others are born on the streets because sterilisation is inaccessible or ignored. Rescue organisations are overwhelmed, and veterinarians constantly see the consequences firsthand.

The solution needs community effort:
Sterilise pets to prevent unwanted litters.
Adopt instead of buying where possible.
Support local rescues and clinics.
Report abuse and neglect.

Educate children and communities about responsible pet ownership.

A dog does not choose to live hungry, scared, or injured on the streets. Responsible humans create the problem — and responsible humans have to help fix it.
