Who said you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

After six weeks, these handlers and their adult dogs embarked on a transformative training journey. We focused on recall, heelwork, and focus training, witnessing remarkable growth

It was truly uplifting to see these handlers and dogs achieve their goals. Dog training is a dynamic process of continuous evolution. By laying foundations for further work, we empower the journey to unfold. Each week, the dogs improved their focus and developed a passion for the work.

After 12 weeks of dedication, this group has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing their Intermediate puppy training course. Through their hard work and perseverance, each handler has developed the skills and confidence to navigate any challenging situation with their puppy.

By completing Puppy 1 and Intermediate training courses, these owners have laid the foundation for a lifelong bond with their dogs, built on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. This connection is the key to a harmonious and dynamic relationship.

On Sunday, our Happy Dogs handlers and dogs shone at our agility fun show, demonstrating remarkable progress and teamwork.

Our bi-monthly club events are designed to foster handlers' confidence and socialization among dogs, and it's thrilling to see our 40-strong agility handler community thrive.

We're incredibly proud of each member's achievements and grateful for the expertise of Megan North, our judge and trainer, whose brilliant courses and guidance have been invaluable.

It's been an absolute delight to witness this group thrive over the past six weeks, having graduated from their six-week puppy course.

While the puppy stage can be daunting, especially when faced with challenging behaviors like chewing, biting, or digging, it's reassuring to know that these issues can be skillfully managed with the right enrichment exercises and toys to combat teething and boredom.

We're committed to providing guidance on overcoming these behaviors, which may initially seem insurmountable. Watching this group blossom has been a true joy. Despite the summer heat, we took a bold approach by scheduling our classes at 7 am on Saturdays, and it's been incredible to see this group show up every week, dedicated to their puppy's training.

It's been an honor to witness your growth and that of your puppies. Keep up the fantastic work! We're eager to see you all again for the Intermediate Puppy Course.

After completing 12 weeks of training, this dedicated group has successfully graduated from their Puppy 1 and Puppy 2 courses, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

Witnessing their growth and development has been truly inspiring, as they and their puppies have
worked tirelessly to achieve outstanding results.

Their unwavering commitment is a testament to the fact that anyone can learn to work with their dog, regardless of prior experience. Notably, one of the handlers had no prior experience with dog ownership.

Our Puppy 1 and 2 courses are carefully designed to lay the foundation for a lifelong connection between owners and their puppies, empowering them with essential skills and tools to navigate everyday situations.

By emphasizing recall training from an early age, we enable puppies and owners to develop a strong bond, granting puppies the freedom to explore and have fun while ensuring their safety.
