Veral ons hier in die veraf geleё platteland moét ons Burgerregte ken en veral wat om te doen indien ons regte vertrap word soos te dikwels gebeur. Ek verneem juis dat daar 'n onsmaaklike insident op Concordia plaasgevind het waar lede van die spesiale polisie taakspan 'n manspersoon aangerand het. Hierdie tipe gedrag is onwettig en moét aangemeld word. Die dame wat so onbeskof was moet ook aangekla word die uniform wat sy dra en in oneer gebring het. Iemand met eerstehandse kennis kan gerus met NamaquaRights skakel by [email protected] Ons is dapper genoeg om die aanklagte te lê.

1) Waarom het Namakwaland nie 'n Vroue-forum, of enige forum wat uitsluitlik daarop toegespits is om myne in ons omgewing maar, veral, vir de Beers en Vedante, verantwoordelik te hou vir betekenisvolle sosiale investering in ons gemeenskappe?

2) Wat weet ons gemeenskappe van planne en watter toekoms beplanning doen ons gemeenskappe aangaande die aansoek om vir olie langs ons kuslyn te eksploreer? Of is dit weer 'n geval van politici wat toegelaat gaan word om eerste te skep en die krummels vir ons gemeenskappe oor te laat.

3) Wie lei ons gemeenskappe rondom 'n Mynwese Verklaring waarin aangedring word dat Namakwalanders se regte op die minerale in ons grondgebied moet realiseer deur, ten minste, betekenisvolle sosiale investering.

4) Waarom het Namakwaland nie 'n Aksie-georiёnteerde agenda om die voordele van ons minerale op te eis?

Namakwaland ontbreek ook 'n 'advocacy framework'/raamwerk om ons stryd vir die erkening van ons mineralregte te bevorder. Wie gaan ons lei?
