Meet granny Sugar. The sweetest little min pin x ever. Sugar has been surrendered to LCARA. She's between 12 and 14 years old and in good health. Sugar has been left to her own devices and just became a garden ornament. She craves love and a home to call her own, where she will be doted on and afforded the opportunity to show you just how much love she has to give. Please don't let this sweet old lady dissappear into the system just because she's a senior lady. She has so so much left to give 🐾🤍🐶

Everyday when the parents are at work and one of the furkids gets sick we have awesome grandparents that step in and help be the chauffeur and give the emotional support and love that only a grandparent can give! Thank you grandparents from all the granddogs and grandcats and any other little pet in your families. Your love is always recognized ❤️ 🐾🐾❤️

On Mandela Day at Orion Veterinary Clinic, a total of 67 minutes were dedicated to the initiative, resulting in 13 sterilization procedures. Recognizing the importance of community support, we sponsored the surgical procedures for 13 animals from families facing financial constraints.

Our generous clients contributed significantly, enabling us to provide each animal with a gift bag containing treats, supplies, and a comforting blanket.

This Mandela Day was a resounding success, allowing us to embody the values of service and assistance championed by Nelson Mandela.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this day memorable and anticipate future opportunities to uplift our community.

Orion Veterinary clinic will observe Mandela Day, 18 July 2025 by doing outreach sterilization for an underprivileged area with the help of the rescue groups i work with daily.

If you want to assist and contribute to achieving your goals for Mandela day why not donate food(dry or tins), treats, blankets or a monetary sponsor to a pet. We will post pictures on the day of the goodie bags we make up using your donations and the little furkids that are receiving them.
