Farnham Stables, a competitive showjumping yard established in 1981 and owned by Barry & Lorette Taylor. The 2 x 7 acre properties consist of 52 brick stables, an 11 horse barn, 15 wooden boxes and over 40 paddocks. The working space boasts 2 fibre arenas, grass derby arena, canter track, lunge arena & horse walker.

A successful show this past weekend, in their home town for and her lovely, Lady's Diamant M aka Ntombi.

Sandy's dream was to breed his daughter some showjumpers - and that he has! This is the newest now show going prospect - the lovely daughter of the imported GP mare, Lady Gaga - who left the sport prematurely due to injury, but has given her family a very exciting mini-me.
Michelle Joubert has done a masterful production job on Ntombi, with Rene Fourie & the team at Revil, who looked after Ntombi so well during her time there, from keeping her in great condition to handling her on the ground.


Mouse brought Ntombi to Farnham after the show on Sunday to start their new journey together.

Our Story

Farnham Stables, situated in Chartwell, Johannesburg is owned by Barry & Lorette Taylor, & has been established since 1985. We offer quality livery, high performance showjumping coaching for juniors, young riders & adults (in-house, off the property and at shows), professional showjumping schooling, coaching clinics, as well equine sales & transport. The current property consists of 82 stables and 45 paddocks, 2 clopf fibre training arenas, a fibre lunge arena, grassed derby arena with fixed obstacles, a 900m canter & horse walker, as well as a solarium.
