Greta, a stray, was found in Strubens Valley. She wasn’t microchipped and sadly, no owner came forward. At just 2 years old, this lovely girl is now safe with us and hoping for her second chance. 💕

Greta has the sweetest, most affectionate personality — she absolutely adores people and soaks up every bit of love she can get. The only thing she asks is to be the only cat in her home, where she can reign as queen 👑🐾.

Almost a year ago, Shelly was rescued from a Shell garage on Christmas Eve — pregnant, thin, and in desperate need of help. She raised her kittens like the gentle queen she is, and every one of them found a forever home.

✨ But mama Shelly is still waiting for hers.

Now in a loving foster home, we’re getting to know her even better — and here’s what we’ve learned:

💗 She’s incredibly affectionate with people and adores being petted
😺 She seems more interested in human company than mingling with other cats
👧 She may be fine with gentle children, though sudden movements still startle her
🧸 She’s not very playful (yet!), and prefers calm, quiet spaces

Pringle was lovingly surrendered due to circumstances beyond her owner’s control.

She’s a playful, chatty foodie who always initiates playtime — and she gets along beautifully with other cats, making her the perfect companion for a kitty friend. 🐾

Pringle can be a little sensitive to loud noises or fast movements, especially in her first two weeks while settling in, so a calm and gentle home will suit her best. 🌸

All she needs now is a forever family to love her as much as she’ll love them.

Zeus , the Brave, Playful Little Adventurer! 🐾

Hungry little Zeus wandered into a classroom at Northcliff Primary one day, looking for help. Luckily, a kind teacher fed him and took him to the vet to check for a microchip – but no family ever came forward.

Now in foster care, this 5-month-old bundle of energy has shown his true personality. He’s:
✨ Playful & VERY vocal – Zeus always has something to say!
✨ Persistent & smart – never gave up until he with won his foster brother over.
✨ Adventurous – loves sneaking up, wrestling, and even sharing meals.
✨ Confident & social – he would absolutely thrive in a home with other pets.

From Streets to Snuggles…

Not too long ago, a group of tiny kittens were trapped on Corlett Drive in Melrose as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) drive. At the time, they were wide-eyed little ferals who only knew survival.

With patience, gentle hands, and lots of love, these babies have blossomed into beautifully tame youngsters. 💕 They’ve swapped the fear of the streets for the comfort of blankets, toys, and caring voices.

🐾 Socialised kittens often start off a little timid — new sounds and faces can feel overwhelming. But with time, kindness, and reassurance, their true personalities shine through… playful, affectionate, and oh-so deserving of forever homes.

Gorgeous Gigi has already shown the world how sweet and affectionate she can be. This 1 year old little lady absolutely adores people and is wonderfully good with other cats — making her the perfect addition to a loving home. 💕🐾

Her story began in the old MOTH hall near Park Station in the Joburg CBD, where too many forgotten kitties still wait for a chance at love. Gigi is one of the lucky ones who made it out — now she’s hoping for her forever family to find her.
