What Is the CABTi?
CABTi stands for the COAPE Association of Behaviourists and Trainers International. It's one of the largest specifically qualified associations for pet behaviourists and trainers worldwide. Membership is open only to individuals who have completed a COAPE Diploma, ensuring they have attained a high level of expertise in animal behaviour. CABTi members adhere to a strict Code of Practice, emphasizing the use of science-based, ethical, and force-free methods in their work. They also engage in ongoing professional development to maintain their competence and knowledge .
What is COAPE endorsed?
This means that the person has completed a COAPE Diploma, and has signed the COAPE Code of Practice, but is however not a member of the CABTi. COAPE Endorsed members still work to a high standard of ethics and are required to use only science-based, ethical and force-free methods of training and behaviour modification.
All CABTi members are also COAPE Endorsed.
