As you may be aware of, RCL Foods had a recall on some of their foods. We have the details for you.

RCL Foods identified elevated levels of Deoxynivalenol (DON) in certain batches of maize used to produce dry pet food that was manufactured on 26 - 29 May 2025 and 4 - 5 June 2025.

Most pets who ingested the food with elevated levels of DON will not experience any symptoms as they typically refuse to eat affected food. However, if they have consumed the affected food for a prolonged time, they may get an upset stomach.

Stray alert! This very friendly female Husky was found yesterday, December 2nd. She is spayed and microchipped, but there's been no response from the owner when phoned. She also doesn't have a collar. Found on M1 between Melrose and Rivonia. If you know the owner, please call us at 011 887 8158. Please note that proof of ownership is required.
