It was our monthly Funda Nenja steri clinic on Saturday. We sterilised 23 dogs and a cat. When we arrived there were dogs waiting with their humans, many of whom were children, so the outdoor gym equipment was the place to be. The dogs are generally all in good condition and this makes for much safer surgery, with less complications (great work Funda Nenja). It is still an incredible feat to do so many animals in one day with only one vet, so huge shout out to Dr Lee!

Unfortunately Matilda has been out of action for a while, but hopefully will be back on the road very soon. We have got so used to having everything we need on our outreach clinic's right there, so when we went to Port St Johns this weekend, we had to pack very carefully to squeeze everything we needed into to the car.

What a succesul steri drive it was! 127 dogs got sterilised, as well as a few wounds stitched, rabies vaccinations given and dewormers administered, as well as some dog food handed out.

Thank you to the team for a well prepared clinic. The intake worked well and the dogs getting pre meds were handled with care. We had 3 vets operating, so the prep tables have to be well organised and able to keep up with the vets. Thank you to Dr Dave, Dr Tinashe and Dr Lee.

We even had time to take a walk on the beach one evening, and take a drive to Poenskop to enjoy the stunning hills and sea views.

Thank you to for everything you do for the animals in the Underberg area. We have just done a 3 day steri campaign where we set up firstly in the Underberg Community Hall, then the Himeville Community Hall and lastly at the Underberg Farmers Association hall. This way we can access the whole area. Lots of vaccinations were done to the dogs and cats living in the townships, and we sterilised a total of 26 dogs and 21 cats.
