There live Rosy and Thor, a gentle pair,
Therapy donkeys with love to share.
With soft, sweet brays and patient eyes,
They greet young friends beneath blue skies.
At this small farm, there’s much to see—
From rescue pigs to chickens free!
Come meet the goats and rabbits too,
Learn how they’re cared for, just like you.
Then hop on a pony for a gentle ride,
With laughter and learning side by side.

Meet the Heart of Winsome View Animal Farm – Our Wonderful Team!

At the heart of our farm is a dedicated team of caring, hardworking individuals who make every day special – not just for our animals, but for every visitor who walks through our gates.

Bring the kids and let them experience the joy of meeting our friendly chickens, waddling ducks, honking geese, gentle bunnies, slow-and-steady tortoises, playful pigs, curious goats, woolly sheep and our ever-patient donkeys. Let them enjoy a pony ride!

Whether it’s feeding time, watching the animals play, or just soaking up the sounds and sights of farm life, there’s something magical for children of all ages to enjoy. Our team is always on hand to answer questions, share stories and make sure everyone – two-legged and four-legged – is well taken care of.

A Day at Winsome View

The sun came up with skies so blue,
As school kids cheered, “Hooray, we’re through—
To Winsome View we go today,
For fun, fresh air and the smell of hay!”

With backpacks light and spirits high,
They saw the farm and gave a cry—
A welcome warm, a joyful cheer,
As Elias and Steve brought smiles ear to ear.

“Meet Bruce and Merry,” Elias said,
Two happy pigs with cheeks so red.
“They love a scratch behind the ear,
And oink with joy when kids are near.”

Then came Buster, a goat so spry,
Who’d nibble grass then prance on by.
His friends all bounced and bleated too,
They made the fields a playful zoo.

Next our donkeys—strong and kind,
Thor and Rose with peace of mind.
They gently brayed and ate from hand,
While Steve gave each a meal so grand!

In a cosy hutch, soft and neat,
Thunder and Poseidon twitched their feet.
Fluffy bunnies, sweet and shy,
But bold enough to say hi-hi!

The squeals of joy were pure delight,
As little hands fed snacks just right.
Jaws munched and pellets flew,
The animals knew just what to do.

And just when kids thought fun would pause,
Missy the horse received applause.
One by one they took their ride,
With grins so wide they couldn't hide!

She clip-clopped gently down the track,
Then trotted slowly, safely back.
With wind-blown hair and hearts so light,
It truly was a perfect sight.

So off they went, the day now done,
With stories bright and memories spun.
Thanks to the farm, their hearts were full—
Of laughter, kindness and learning too.
