Please meet Coco and Codi - small dogs, BIG personalities for sure!
Coco - a Cairn Terrier with the confidence of a dog three times her size. Sweet as pie, clever as hell, and absolutely convinced she's running the household. (She is. I just live there).
Codi - a wire haired Jack Russel , powered entirely by joy, mischief and what I assume is rocket fuel. Blink and you'll miss him, blink twice and he's stolen your sock.😜
Both are beautifully behaved, easy to care for, and outrageously entertaining😂
They've never been kennelled or away from home overnight, so their Uprights chose the VIP treatment.

The Sausage Take Over!

Good morning all you wonderful dog lovers!
Hope you are all rocking these December days?
Well recently the gang arrived and yip, they truly smoke my world!

Diesel = a petrol pump on tiny legs. Constantly running.
Brutus = handsome snuggle king. Zero personal space.
Sno = extra-short front legs, permanently busy with Very Important Dachshund Business.
Amber-Lee = elderly matriarch. One look. Everyone behaves.

They explore the garden like it’s the Amazon, crunch raw carrots like Bugs Bunny, and believe bedtime means all FOUR piled on you.

Have you ever been surrounded by four Daxies in your bed?
Sistah… that’s not sleeping — that’s being wrapped in love. 🐾❤️
Be kind, be happy and be nice to animals!

Good morning to you all!
Recently my house was ruled by three very different personalities… and honestly, I’m still laughing.

First up, Oreo the Scotty — the CEO of the household. Short legs, big attitude. He marched around like he owned the property, ran staff meetings I definitely did not approve, and made it very clear that I work for him. Classic Scotty: independent, bossy, and an absolute walking cartoon character.

Then we had Bella the Golden Retriever, who is basically a gentle giant marshmallow wearing fur. She’s verrrrry large, verrrry lazy, and deeply committed to her life’s mission: to carry as many soft toys as physically possible in her mouth. You have not lived until you’ve watched a big Golden waddle past you, stuffed like a plush-toy!!

And lastly, Karlien the Maltese — the tiny diva who believes she should be carried everywhere like she’s on the red carpet. She has the softest little eyes that say, “Hold me, human. No, don’t put me down. Ever.” My sweet little handbag-dog.

Three dogs. Three personalities. One deeply entertained dog sitter.

Honestly? I miss them already. 💛🐾

Good morning to all you K9 lovers! It is a cool rainy day here in KZN Africa and I am delighted to tell you a secret!
Did you know that the male species, all that macho male testosterone they puff out for you - is just a rues?
A BEEEEG cover up guys, a big smoke screen!
Yip, you betta believe it sistah!!!
I have a groovy male customer who sends his gorgeous, spoilt and utterly lovable Yorkies to me! Yes, YORKIES!! Not the Pitty or the Rottie or the GS or the Mally....just two incredible small cute Yorkies that he loves probably more than life itself. He also sends his Mom or his funky brother to drop them off – and both are as besotted with Millie and Toby as he is!
Sooooo....it is the cutest and most heart melting thing to see grown men go all mushy when these little fluff balls look up at them with their beady cute round brown eyes!
You know that song “Brown Eyed Girl?” - I think I am dedicating that to men and their Yorkies!

Hi guys! I must tell you....it was such a pleasure welcoming my two and a half regular Belgian Malinois back again!
Diesel is a beautiful, intelligent boy with impeccable manners. Thandi, the gentle senior lady, brought her usual calm and loving presence to my home. Their younger half-Malinois sister, added a touch of playful energy and endless affection.
Wherever I went, the three of them followed faithfully like I'm some sort of celebrity, filling my home with love, loyalty, quiet joy and perfect safety.
I truly enjoy every moment of their stay and always look forward to their next visit.
(PS by the way, these dog's sense of recall is insane! They can be barking their heads off at the fence at the next door dog and when I shout 'come Diesel' they ALL come immediately! I now realise they could possibly assist in training husbands and boyfriends...mmmmh a sideline business?)

She is the most delightful character that you almost forget is there! She never makes a peep, loves to be just chilling with people, never makes a fuss, fits into your bag to take out and gives loads and loads of love and kisses!

Good morning all you dog lovers!! Hope you are on top of the world and skating through this weekend like a happy chappie!
You know every now and then I come across a dog that is so photogenic it literally takes my breath away! Please meet LIZZIE, a mixed breed with the most expressive eyes I have yet to see!
She is flanked by her wingman VINO, a Jack Russel who is typical of the Jacky breed and thinks his package matches that of a Rottweiler!
These two are regulars of mine, and I just SO look forward to them staying with us!

Good morning all you beautiful people! I just have to share this with you. Every single one of you is special beyond words. You have given a dog a loving home. Most of us haven't got incredibly fascinating stories about how we acquired our dogs, but nevertheless, they are incredible to us!!!
This is just an ordinary story of an ordinary person like you and I that opened her heart to a dog. Like we all do. This is her story. Her name is Taz, but I call her Tennessee Whiskey. Enjoy her story, I know you will as you ALL have a similar story. ( I name most things/people/events that touch my heart, its just a thing I do.)

"Flow came into my world almost by fate. During one of my documentary trips to Knysna, I found myself at KAWS, the animal welfare centre, waiting on news of an injured bird I had brought in. Little did I know that my heart was about to be stolen by something entirely unexpected.
As I wandered through the kennels, I met a tiny, spirited puppy with eyes full of curiosity and mischief. That was Flow. Something about her energy, and the way she looked me made it impossible to walk away. In that moment I knew she belonged to me.
From the very beginning, Flow showed just how unique she is. She is incredibly loving, endlessly curious, and always up for adventure. She has a mischievous streak - especially when she's bored - but her charm and affection make it impossible to stay mad at her.

Her intelligence means she learns quickly. Her curiosity keeps life exciting, and her heart is endlessly warm. She's both a playful friend and a sensitive soul - always ready to comfort, cuddle, and cheer up anyone around her. Flow has taught me much about loyalty, joy and living fully in the present.

Just take a look at my first Rhodesian Ridgebacks I was so lucky to have the honour of looking after! This breed is not Africa's proudest for nothing folks! They are the most perfect breed to have, I kid you not! They hardly ever bark, prefer to assess, process and quietly assassinate! In that order.
But boy can they fart!!!
