Blue Hippo Farm itself is situated 4kms outside of Greyton, and only 1 1/2 hours outside Cape Town, nestled below the beautiful mountains. It is home to many animals of all shapes and sizes but at the heart of them all is the herd of horses. Living in a large mixed herd on over 100 hectares of exquisite varied and natural terrain we offer an idyllic lifestyle for the young, retired and foaling hor

se and simply owners looking to give their horse a more natural lifestyle. Breathtaking outrides are available around the farm as well as a 4 hectare dam for swimming and accommodation is available to spend a special weekend or holiday with your horse. Horse related workshops are often held on the farm. We are a fun, like-minded community all seeking to achieve the best possible relationship with our horses. Our livery rate is very competitive, please contact us for details on further facilities and costs.
