It feels like just yesterday when we brought home our 6 Ayam Cemani in late February 2026. They were still young birds with so much growing to do.

Fast forward a few months, and they have developed into beautiful, healthy chickens and now our hens have started laying🙂

Watching their growth has been an amazing journey, and we're incredibly proud of how they've turned out. The next chapter is one we're especially excited about: our very first Ayam Cemani chicks. 🐣🖤

We can't wait to see the next generation of these stunning birds at NgoAtse Exotic Chickens

A true survivor. A true king. 👑🐔

This is the rooster that started it all for us at NgoAtse Exotic Chickens

He's the only chicken that survived the snake attack that devastated our flock some time back. Through all the challenges, he stood strong, and today he still proudly walks with his hens.

Now he's getting older, but we're grateful for every day we have with him. His quality, temperament, and genetics have played a huge role in our journey.
A special thank you to CT CN Motana for providing us with such an exceptional bird. 🙏

Buff Orpingtons & Broodiness - Let's Settle the Debate

This beautiful Buff Orpington hen is currently sitting tight on her eggs and getting ready to hatch some chicks.

When we shared this video on TikTok, it sparked quite a debate. Some people claimed that Buff Orpingtons don't go broody, while others said that broody buffs aren't "true" Buff Orpingtons.

From our experience, we've had Buff Orpington hens go broody and successfully hatch chicks. But we'd love to hear from fellow poultry keepers and breeders.

Our breeding Orpington chicken flock is looking absolutely beautiful after molting

Feathers fresh, colours popping and condition looking strong, just the way we like it. Two of our hens are already laying, and we’re expecting the other two to follow soon

We’re getting closer to the next exciting phase… fertile eggs and chicks will be available soon.
