This Bday celebration was for mommy, Ozet von Krötz (13 years young), daughter Bixi von Krötz (11 years young) and the youngest baby, Yhana von Krötz ( 6 months old)...
They had there own party and they are spoiled brats....just how we like our babies to be treated‼️

These changes, along with genetic differences from wolves, point to a new chapter in canine evolution, one driven largely by their unique bond with humans.

*THE MYTH ABOUT THE GSD HIPS*

It’s a common belief that German Shepherds are plagued with poor hip health — but the facts refute that myth!!!!

1. The OFA ranks breeds from worst to best hips. German Shepherds are near the better end of the list — not the worst.

2. GSDs are by far the most tested breed, with over 100,000 dogs evaluated. This makes their data highly reliable, unlike breeds with only a few hundred tests.

3. Many viral posts and images feature American-line GSDs, which have different structural traits and breeding goals than the West German working lines, where sound hips and performance are prioritized.

4. Some breeds that rank higher on the list actually had far fewer dogs tested — which means their data is less representative and can distort comparisons.

Bottom line: When you understand the context, the “bad hips” label for GSDs doesn’t hold up. Breeders, especially of West German lines, have made great strides in preserving hip health through responsible selection and screening.
