Meet our unique "Jack Russel" (well he thinks he is part of the dog pack 🤣🤭🤣) - Loco the boerbok 😍🤩

He was found only a few days old stuck in a drain which took hours to safely remove him but worth every second.

Loco was raised by bottle by our awesome staff members especially hooman mommy Sylvia - and now ready for his own happy after.🍼💪

Strict home checks will apply - as he needs to be part of the family and will not be rehomed for all the wrong reasons‼️ 🐐

‼️🌟 Wishing Wednesday II ~ Saartjie 🌟‼️

🐾 MY NAME IS SAARTJIE… AND I WASN'T READY TO GIVE UP. ❤️
My name is Saartjie.
When I was found, I was just a fragile, incredibly skinny little girl.
I was a stray.
Nobody came looking for me.
Nobody claimed me.
And nobody knew where I had come from or what had happened to me before that day.
But my body was telling a story.
Inside my stomach were things that should never have been there…
plastic, stones, bones and even staples.
My little body had been trying to survive however it could.
But eventually, it became too much.
My stomach was severely obstructed.
I was very sick.
The first treatment and medication didn't make me better.
And that's when things became really serious.
I needed an emergency operation.
But there was a terrifying question hanging over everyone…
Would my weak and fragile body even survive the surgery?
There were no guarantees.
But the humans caring for me weren't ready to give up on me.
The veterinary team fought for me.
They operated.
And I fought too.
And somehow…
I made it. ❤️
My operation was successful.
I survived.
And then something beautiful happened.
I started getting better.
Day by day.
I started gaining weight.
My fragile little body became stronger.
And slowly, I became more than the sick, skinny stray who arrived at the SPCA.
I became Saartjie.
The girl who loves toys.
The girl who loves treats.
The girl who loves to play.
The girl who wants to have FUN! 🥹🐾
Just look at me now.
Once, my tummy was filled with things that could have taken my life.
Now…
I'd much rather fill my days with toys, treats, playtime and love. ❤️
I don't know who I belonged to before.
I don't know why nobody came looking for me.
I don't know how I ended up alone.
But maybe I don't need to know anymore.
Because my past doesn't have to decide my future.
I survived it.
I recovered.
I gained weight.
And now I'm ready for the part of my story I've been waiting for…
MY HAPPY EVER AFTER. 🏡❤️
I'm looking for someone who will give me a safe home, a soft place to sleep, toys to play with, treats to enjoy and a lifetime of love.
I don't need someone to rescue me anymore.
I need someone to choose me.
Someone who will look at the girl I am today…
and never let me wonder again if I'm safe.
If you can't adopt me, please share my story.
Because somewhere out there might be the person I've been waiting for.
And maybe…
your share will help them find me. ❤️🐾
I was once fighting just to survive.
Now I'm ready to live.

Please help me find my happy ever after.

🌟‼️Wishing Wednesday ~Stewart ‼️🌟

🐾 MY NAME IS STEWART… AND SOMEHOW, I STILL TRUST YOU. 💔

My name is Stewart
I'm a young boy who was found alone near a mine.
I don't know how I got there.
I don't know how long I had been wandering.
And I can't tell you what happened to me before that kind person found me.
But my body tells a story.
I have a limp that is suspected to be the result of previous trauma.
And when I was found, I had a serious injury to my testicles that required emergency veterinary treatment.
So the kind person who found me called for help.
SPCA Witbank came to collect me…
and instead of waiting, they rushed me straight to the vet.
I needed an emergency castration.
I had already been let down by humans once.
But here's the part of my story that nobody expected…
I was still gentle.
From the very beginning.
I didn't decide that all humans were bad.
I didn't turn my pain into anger.
I still wanted attention.
I still love treats.
I still wag my tail.

Actually… my tail seems to have missed the memo that I'm supposed to be a sad boy. ❤️
And yes…
I walk with a little bit of swag because of my limp.
But that's okay.
I've got character.
I've got personality.
And I've got a whole lot of love left to give.
When you look at me, you might see the limp.
You might see the scars of a life nobody should have had to endure.
But please…
look a little closer.
Look at my eyes.
Look at my tail.
Look at the boy who still wants to be near you.
Look at the boy who still believes that someone might be kind.
Because after everything I've been through…
I still choose kindness.
And now I need you to choose me.
I desperately need a loving home where I can finally learn what life is supposed to feel like.
A soft bed.
A safe place.
Someone who will give me treats.
Someone who will scratch my ears.
Someone who won't hurt me.
Someone who won't give up on me.
Someone who will look at my little swag walk and say:
“That's my boy.”
I don't need you to feel sorry for me.
I need you to give me a second chance.
I need someone to show me that the humans who hurt me don't get to write the ending of my story.
My story isn't over.
Maybe you're the person who can help me write the next chapter.
If you can't adopt me, please don't just scroll past.
SHARE ME.
Your one share could put my face in front of the person I've been waiting for.
The person who will finally say:
“Stewart, you're coming home.” 🐾❤️

‼️🌟 Miracle Monday ii ~ Licorice 🌟‼️

Hi… my name is Licorice 😍🖤

I'm a handsome Great Dane × Husky boy, about 5 years old, and I'm currently living at SPCA Witbank
I came here after I was found as a stray.
Someone found me.
But nobody came looking for me.
Nobody claimed me.

And now… I've been waiting here for a few months, becoming one of the longest residents in the shelter.

The funny thing is, I'm not really the sad boy you might expect me to be.
I'm actually PLAYFUL. ENERGETIC. GOOFY.
And if you have treats…
Well, let's just say I'm basically a four-legged treat machine. 😂🐾
I can make you laugh.
I can make you smile.
I can be silly.
I can be full of energy.
But then there are those moments when everything goes quiet…
And you look into my eyes.
And you see it.
That little bit of sadness.
Those lonely eyes.
The eyes that seem to be asking:
“When will it finally be my turn?”
“Will somebody choose me?”
“Will somebody love me?”
I don't know why I ended up as a stray.
I don't know where my journey started.
But I do know where I am now.
I'm here.
I'm waiting.
And I'm hoping.
I'm hoping that somewhere out there is a person who doesn't just see a dog in a kennel.
Someone who sees ME.
The goofy boy.
The energetic boy.
The boy who thinks treats are the greatest invention ever.
The boy who still has so much love and happiness to give.
And yes…
The boy with the funny, unforgettable eyes.
I don't need someone to feel sorry for me.
I need someone to give me a chance.
A chance to wake up every morning knowing I'm home.
A chance to have my own bed.
A chance to play.
A chance to be someone's best friend.
A chance to finally know what it feels like to be chosen.
Maybe my person is reading this right now.
Maybe you're looking at my photos and wondering if I could be the missing piece in your family.
Please don't scroll past me.
Please share me.
Because if you can't adopt me, maybe your share will reach the person who can.
And maybe… just maybe…

That share could be the reason I finally get to leave Kennel 35.

My name is Licorice.
I'm still waiting.
But I'm not giving up hope. 🖤🐾
