Hi everyone !
I’m getting a whole lot of kennels/shelters made by a sweet man in Marianhill, who understands how important shelter is for the dogs we care for in Molweni. 🏠 🐕

In the video, it shows what the products should come out like, we will make sure there’s no holes and we will coat them so they don’t get damaged in the weather.

Of course they cannot be made for free however he’s given us a price of R150 for 1. How kind ?!

With donations so far, I’m able to get 5, and a few bags of food to drop off for the end of this month. However, we have absolutely no funds for next month, no food, no blankets and no donations so far. Any help, we would be so grateful !

Please remember that anything helps, whether it’s R10 or R100, we are equally as grateful.

It’s almost Christmas holidays and giving back to the community is what it’s all about ! 🎄🌟❤️

This little girl needs our help.
This super friendly little girl from Molweni has recently been diagnosed with TVT (transmissible venereal tumor), a contagious cancer that can spread between dogs and, if left untreated, can lead to severe health complications.
TVT is extremely painful, causing discomfort as the tumor grows and often ulcerates, bleeds, and leads to excessive licking of the affected area. Some dogs may also experience difficulty urinating or infection due to the tumor’s location.
She has already been steralised and dewormed and is now preparing to start her treatment, tomorrow, which will cost approximately R300 per week. Sadly, with all the kennels in the Upper Highway area full, she has to be placed in isolation with her owners until space becomes available. Despite her condition, she remains incredibly loving and gentle, and we are committed to giving her the care she deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, would go a long way in helping us cover her medical costs and give her the chance at a healthy, happy life.

Hi everyone, I’ve been very quiet on the social media side of things.
We have so many dogs in Molweni township needing food, desperately.
We officially have 2 bags left which will feed only a few dogs for the next day.
Unfortunately the social media side of things is not my best skill but wanting to improve as this is the only way we get funds to feed the lives of so many helpless animals.

Please, think about the impact you could have. Think about how they have to go to bed starving most nights, how they don’t get to sleep in a warm bed, how they don’t get the love that all our fur babies get.

They need help, and you have the capacity to do so. Even a small donation makes a huge difference to them. 1 less night going to bed hungry.

We have 4 females going in for steralisation in September, thanks to Animal Lifeline KZN - NPO 257-646 Mandy Hoffmann-jensen Rene Hoffmann-Jensen Pulse Veterinary Clinic .

Which makes a big difference as there will now be 4 less females having puppies, which means an average of 20 less stray puppies have to try survive one day.

Steralisation does have an impact, yet it is so hard to see, especially in a township.

You can look away if you want to, but this is reality and this is what’s going on in the townships.

Puppies are dying by the hundreds from Parvo, bilary, malnutrition, worms and pure neglect.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to get to a puppy in time to save it, most of the times we are called too late. And these are pups which we know about, how many are out there, that we don’t even know about.

The only way we can curb the neglect is by sterilising. Please get behind a steri drive, donate towards a shelter doing steri’s, volunteer at a steri day….the only way we can curb this madness is by working together.

We are pleading for food donations. The molweni dogs are in desperate need. If anyone has and willing to donate please, we are begging.
So many dog mommies are having puppies and needing food to stay healthy while they feed their babies.

Slides 1,2&3 - This sweet girls name is puppy, when we first found her (slide 1) she was in horrible condition. Ear infections, skinny, mange, ticks and fleas, flys following her everywhere, dehydrated and so on.
Today she’s looking a lot better. Been dewormed, got rid of the mites causing the mange, been deticked and flead, got rid of the ear infection and been treating her eye. She’s now being fed proper dog food (twice a day) and has a place to sleep undercover with pillows and blankets. (2&3) unfortunately she’s spot chained as there is no fence around the garden and it’s right next to a main road. We have been trying for ages to find someone to take her in, but unfortunately had no luck. Please contact me if you know of anyone who could help. (0793435439) .turner_

Sam was one of the very first people we started helping. He is such an incredible man who absolutely loves his dogs and would do just about anything for them.

It’s almost Christmas time and we have yet again, run out of food for the dogs in the township.

These sweet pups are desperate, they run around all day looking for something just to keep their tummies full. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.

If anyone has spare food sitting around/ wants to donate a bit.
