After many years serving the Glenwood community, Glenwood Veterinary Clinic has closed its doors from the 21st April 2023.
This has not been an easy decision, or one made lightly, but after months of deep reflection and deliberation on the future of the
veterinary industry in South Africa and where the best opportunities lie for both personal and professional development, stability and satisfaction.
I am not leaving Durban. I will be joining Tygerberg Animal Hospital Group, and I will be based at Northway Vet at 1 Kelvin Place, Durban North every Monday to Wednesday and every second Saturday. I am really excited about working for this established group, and at this well-equipped practice, as it will allow me to offer more comprehensive care opportunities to my patients.
I want to take this opportunity to inform you that it has been my pleasure to serve as the Veterinarian of your furry family members. The relationships I have formed with so many of you and your pets are near and dear to my heart.
I will never take for granted the confidence you have placed in me to advise you about the health of someone you cherish and for whom you are the voice. Your ongoing commitment as a client, entrusting the care of your canine and feline companions, to me and my staff at Glenwood Veterinary Clinic is deeply appreciated.
Please know that I would love to see you at my new practice, but that I understand if you would like to find a new vet. Your pet’s medical records will be available on request by contacting us on our Whatsapp number 064 064 0674 after this date.
I can never really fully express in words my gratitude for my years of practice here.
This has been a bittersweet decision. Thank you for understanding and I wish each of you success in your ongoing journey. May 2023 be filled with good health for you and your families, prosperity in your business, and gratitude in your hearts.
