Leslie O’Brien recently passed her COAPE Diploma in Animal behaviour and proves that passion is an excellent driver, and we are so proud to welcome her into the COAPE family. Read what Leslie had to say about studying with COAPE, and what she learned in the process:
“I started my own dog school and quickly realised in this unregulated industry that nothing really made you stand out in the crowd. Then I met a COAPE animal behaviourist and after much research chose this as my path to a new future. The support from the tutors was amazing, and this old brain came to life. When you turn your passion into your career then the hard seems to fire you up to want to be the best you can be. Now my clients get the best of two worlds for their pets from me. I am so excited about the future, and it really changed the way I work with people's dogs – from a place of a much deeper understanding, instead of hit and miss guessing when this or that exercise did not work. I am super proud to be a COAPE “Diplomate”. Thank you again to all at COAPE for your efforts and desire to help us be successful.”
