Wynberg Organic Urban Farm

Wynberg Organic Urban Farm Its a pity you won't get a hectare in the city, but you get roof tops to convert into aerial hydroponic gardens.

Malopo Urban Agriculture is a baby born by Malopo Horticulture which is a horticultural company which deals with food production use of space for food production Landscaping and ornamental horticulture. Urban agriculture called upon us like spirits of farmers that want us to farm in the cities, we are using back yard spaces from business parks to cordoned off land left to do nothing, our mission f

or now is to produce intensively food in city spaces to combat unemployment and laziness in the city. It could also be bringing the cool farm feel to the city by deliveing compost and using bounce back hould be all this things i mentioned but we found that it makes some business sense it cuts off petrol costs.

Meet our guest: Mosima Macdonald Pale.

Mosima was born in Tembisa the east of Gauteng; however at the age of 5, he had relocated to a refugee camp in Botswana where his father had been living due to the fact that the police in South Africa were looking for him as he played a role in the liberation struggle. Pale had grown up in the refugee camp and had watched his father and his comrades start their own vegetable garden in order to feed themselves. This is where Mosima had discovered his love for agriculture.

Mosima had come back to South Africa to complete his schooling and had later gone to a well-known university in order to get his degree, which he had to pay for himself. Even though there were financial constricts, it did not stop him from following his dreams, and now years later, Mosima now supplies fresh vegetables to many high-end bakeries and companies across Cape Town.

Here is the message that Mosima has shared and continues to do so today: Think out of the box, be strong and go for your dreams. When you take risks, make sure they are healthy risks. And take care of our children and our environment.

Thank you for joining us, Mosima, and we wish you all the best for your future!
