Bubbles is a three-year-old sweetheart who has stolen every heart at the clinic, one cheeky purr at a time. Born around July 2022, she’s grown into a friendly, confident young lady with a wonderfully quirky feature… her adorable shortened tail! We suspect she was born that way, and it only adds to her charm.

She’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into a hilarious one. Whether she’s chasing a toy, rolling over for love, or trotting around with her perfectly imperfect tail, Bubbles radiates joy.

This lovely girl has been vaccinated, microchipped, sterilised, and treated for all parasites. She’s healthy, happy, and more than ready to bring warmth and fun into her new home.

If you’re looking for a cat who’ll brighten your life with personality and love, Bubbles is your girl.

The day had that lovely, slow-blooming energy only a charity golf event can produce - friendly competition mixed with real heart. Unashamedly Ethical kindly invited Mdzananda Animal Clinic and Shelter to be part of their annual Charity Golf Day, and we had the chance to chat to so many wonderful supporters out on the course.

The conversations, the laughs, the genuine interest in our work - it all reminded us how powerful community can be for animals who rely on human kindness.

Thank you to Unashamedly Ethical for including us, and to every golfer who stopped by to engage, ask questions, and cheer us on. Days like these help us keep paws healthy, tails wagging, and hope alive in Khayelitsha.

Lucy was surrendered to us in October when her owner had to relocate and couldn’t take her along. Since joining our shelter family, we’ve discovered what a true gem she is.

Lucy is affectionate, confident, and full of quiet charm. She adores human company and will happily curl up beside you for cuddles and love. When she’s not soaking up affection, you’ll find her enjoying a peaceful nap in the sunshine – her absolute favourite pastime. ☀️💤

She’s a calm, steady soul who doesn’t rattle easily and takes everything in her stride. Lucy would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend who’s as content sharing snuggles as she is enjoying a lazy afternoon.

When he arrived at our clinic, he was heartbreakingly thin and brought in to be euthanised. But there was still so much life and love in his eyes - we just couldn’t give up on him.

Thanks to our incredible friends at Labrador Rescue South Africa, Aston now has a safe foster home where he can rest, heal, and rediscover joy while waiting for his forever family.

Here’s to second chances and the people who make them possible. ❤️🐾
