The story of the Lekker Barkery started with an idea producing an ostrich chip cookie for a gang of five truly, unruly Jack Russells adored by the family. It was out of pure love for the rascals that we decided to piece together a recipe that would not fail the taste buds of these canines. And as they say in the classics—the proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the cookie! Tried and tested
by the mob, the vote was unanimous—the cookie was a winner. Today many Canine friends share the same sentiment and the ostrich chip cookie is a favourite treat in many cookie tins back home. It has been four years since we started "The Lekker Barkery" and our doggy treat menu has grown somewhat! We now offer our doggy customer treats galore -from liver treats to ostrich chew sticks and the most gigantic marrow bones ever!
